In short
- This site has no forms, needs no sign-up and uses no cookies or analytics tools.
- Fonts and code are served from the site itself, with no connections to third-party services.
- Personal data is only processed if you write to the contact email, plus the minimal technical logs any web server creates when you visit.

What data is processed and why
1. If you write to the contact email. Your email address, your name if you give it and the content of your message are processed only to reply to you.
- Legal basis: your consent when you write (Art. 6.1.a of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).
- Retention: as long as needed to deal with your message, and afterwards for any legally required period.
- Please do not send health information (symptoms, reports, test results). This email is not a medical consultation channel, and questions about personal cases will not be answered.
2. When you visit the site. The hosting provider automatically logs technical data for each visit (IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type) to serve the site and protect it against attacks.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- These logs are not used to identify you or to build profiles.
Providers with access to data
- Netlify, Inc. (web hosting), based in the United States.
- Google (email service), for messages you send to the contact email.
These providers act as data processors. When data is processed outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the safeguards set out in the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Data is not shared with third parties unless required by law. No automated decisions or profiling take place.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to jgarciaarteaga.md@gmail.com. If you believe your data has not been handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Changes to this policy
If the site adds features that process personal data (for example, booking appointments), this policy will be updated before they go live.
